My roommate and I were talking the other day about how we love when people misspell friends and put fiends, but I digress before I even begin.
SO, I've been meaning to start a blog for about forever (if forever is equal to about the last month), but I lost my camera. And as everyone knows, a blog is really boring to read unless there are lots of pictures. And then I remembered this thing called the INTERWEB (or the internet if you aren't fans of 30 rock, or my sister
Adri Nye) and that it has pictures of about infinity things.
I decided to start out my blog by talking about one of my favorite things: Stanford football.
Never in my life have I been such a football spectator until I became a Stanford student. Something about being in college and watching a team with a fairly deep reservoir of untapped potential and sitting in the student section and screaming and cheering for my team is incredibly fun. Of course, the fact that it's Stanford means things like this are both slightly embarrassing and utterly enjoyable:
Anyways, today we beat Notre Dame. I knew we would. 37-14 was the final score. I watched the game in someone in my dorm's room on their very nice t.v. I was the only girl in the room. I always feel a little intimidated in a situation like that because I feel like I'm supposed to be able to keep up with them in football knowledge. But it ended up being really fun. Especially because we won. (We are so good this year. And everyone thought without Toby Gerhart we would be nowhere.)
I got the boys to not be so serious. Like the fact that we noticed that Coach Jim Harbaugh's pinky sticks out of the side of his hand:
It's actually quite creepy. But I still love Sanford Football. And YOU, for reading my first blog post. :)
